Our client suffered a cervical spinal cord injury that rendered him a quadriplegic. The employer denied liability claiming the sales incentive trip was not in the course and scope of employment. 

Our client was injured in a work related accident at a construction site.  Another worker kicked a ladder out from under him causing him to sustain serious career ending injuries.  He underwent years of medical treatment including surgeries.

Our client, a minister, was injured while playing basketball on a youth retreat. The property owner failed to properly maintain the wooden gym floor and as a result the gym floor had buckled. Our client suffered a severe leg fracture and other injuries when she ran over the buckled portion of the gym floor.

Our client suffered a career ending back injury when he fell backwards off of a semi- tractor.  Robert Brabbit filed a workers’ compensation claim against the employer and insurer that denied the nature and extent of the injuries.  The compensation judge found in favor of the injured worker and awarded benefits including wage loss, medical bills and permanent partial disability. The injured worker was never able to return to work due to disabling injuries and Brabbit secured a settlement for permanent total disability benefits.

Our client was a passenger in a car that was hit by another car when the other driver ran a red light.  She sustained serious permanent injuries as a result of the collision that happened the day after Christmas.

A construction worker was exposed to asbestos for many years.  He breathed asbestos dust while working on construction sites and developed lung cancer that took his life.

Robert Brabbit represented the family of a man that was killed in a car crash. The family lost a beloved son and brother in the crash. The decedent was a passenger in a friend’s vehicle. The driver had been drinking before the crash and had been chased by the police but “lost them.”  The driver lost control of the vehicle, it left the roadway and hit a tree. The passenger was thrown from the vehicle and died. The driver of the vehicle left the scene to avoid being arrested.

Our client was a journeyman electrician and a member of the IBEW union. He received numerous permanent injuries on the job throughout his career. His employer denied liability for some of those injuries. He worked 17 years for his company and when injuries prevented him from working any longer, he was forced to retire.

Our client was a cement truck driver and was injured at work when he fell between a truck and a platform. He suffered injuries to his spine and hips that required surgery. He continues to live with pain from his injuries.

Our client was driving home from work when he was hit by large truck that merged into his lane crushing his vehicle between the truck and the cement median.  He sustained shoulder injuries that required surgery and resulted in lost time from work. Our client faces permanent ongoing pain and restrictions, and will likely need another surgery in the future.

Our client was assaulted by a co-employee at work and suffered a permanent shoulder injury. Her employer and their insurance company denied several of our client’s injury claims and refused to pay workers’ compensation benefits as required by law.

Our client was injured on her housekeeping job with the Veterans Home where she worked for over 20 years. She suffered a career ending back injury along with injuries to her elbow, hand, and wrist. The injury prevented her from working any longer,
