Jim Carey Inducted To American College of Trial Lawyers

SiebenCarey is pleased to announce that on September 12, 2014 Jim Carey was inducted in to the American College of Trial Lawyers at their annual meeting in London, England. The American College of Trial Lawyers, founded in 1950, recognizes the very best trial lawyers in the U.S. and Canada. It is widely considered to be the premier professional trial organization in the U.S. and Canada. Fellowship is extended to experienced trial lawyers who have distinguished themselves in trial practice for at least 15 years, and whose careers are marked by the highest standards of ethical conduct. There are currently more than 5,700 Fellows across the U.S. and Canada, and 103 Fellows from Minnesota, however membership can never be more than 1% of the total lawyer population of any state of province.

Jim Carey is a personal injury lawyer with a reputation for winning big cases. He was chosen to sit on the American Board of Trial Advocates, and holds a seat on the Million Dollar Roundtable, a recognition given only to Minnesota lawyers who have won million-dollar-plus verdicts. He is certified as a Civil Trial Law Specialist by both the National Board of Trial Advocacy and the Minnesota State Bar Association, a distinction awarded to less than 2 percent of all Minnesota's personal injury attorneys. Jim was recently chosen to join the International Society of Barristers. He is frequently recognized by Super Lawyers and other publications as one of the 40 Top Personal Injury Attorneys in Minnesota and is consistently voted one of America's best personal injury attorneys by The Best Lawyers in America. Jim received his J.D. from William Mitchell College of Law and his B.S. from St. John's University.
