A young Anoka teen practicing for her driver’s test was stopped at a stop when a drunk driver slammed into the rear of the vehicle she was driving. Rather than stop to see if anyone was hurt or render aid, the drunk fled the scene. He was later located by law enforcement. The teen driver hit by the drunk suffered neck and back injuries in the crash.  

The teen and her mother retained attorney Matt Steinbrink to pursue the injury claims. The case was submitted to binding arbitration and resulted in an award of $75,000. After the award the client said, “I am very happy with the result Matt got for me, and now I’m going to be able to go to school to study social work. It will make a big difference in my life.”
