Our client was one of three passengers in a vehicle, the driver was driving recklessly at high speeds and he lost control of the vehicle and struck an SUV head-on. Our client was knocked unconscious and sustained severe head injuries.

After the collision, the defendant left the scene and drove to a nearby parking lot. There he removed the two injured females and our seriously injured client from his vehicle, took their cell phones and then left them. The driver was later arrested for driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol level of .16.

Our client received severe head injuries that required surgically removing part of his skull due to swelling on the brain. He was put into a drug-induced coma and later died from the injuries he sustained in the accident.
