SiebenCarey Announces Auria T.S. Gauger as Future Associate

Gauger plans to join the firm as an associate attorney upon bar admission in 2026SiebenCarey, a renowned Minnesota personal injury firm since 1952, today announced that law clerk Auria T.S. Gauger (née Speltz) will join the firm as an associate attorney following her anticipated admission to the Minnesota Bar in 2026.
Gauger is currently completing her J.D. at Mitchell Hamline School of Law. A first-generation college and soon-to-be law school graduate, she has built her path through persistence and determination, reflected in her top-of-class academic performance and strong commitment to legal scholarship and practice. She serves as Managing Editor of Mitchell Hamline’s Journal of Public Policy and Practice and as Alumni Relations Chair for the Alternative Dispute Resolution Society. Gauger has been named to the Dean’s List all throughout law school, received the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Elder Law as the top-performing student in the course and was selected as the sole judicial extern representing Mitchell Hamline at the Minnesota Court of Appeals under the Honorable Keala Ede.

Prior to joining SiebenCarey, Gauger gained experience in both criminal and civil law, serving as a Certified Student Attorney with the Dakota County Attorney’s Office and assisting on complex civil litigation matters, including personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, and civil rights, at Storms Dworak LLC.
Gauger demonstrates strong litigation, advocacy, and persuasive skills, reflected in her years of mock trial experience and recent advancement to the quarterfinals of the National Veterans Law Moot Court Competition in Washington, D.C. Since joining SiebenCarey as a law clerk, she has worked closely with partner Susan Holden, contributing to complex personal injury cases and gaining experience in trial preparation, motion practice, and case strategy.
